CAPI Case Rejection Criteria

Basic Eligibility

1. Non-citizen does not meet the non-citizen requirements to qualify for CAPI but CAPI has been approved.
2. Verification of application for and/or denial of SSI/SSP is not on file.
3. There is no copy of the client’s passport/plane ticket stubs on file for a client who was out of country for more than 30 days.
4. Benefits were not prorated when an individual reapplied after returning to the U.S. from travel outside the U.S. for over 30 days.
