Good Cause Reasons - Sanctions

When the client is determined by CWES to have good cause, a financial sanction is not requested for failure or refusal to comply with program requirements for reasons related to:

Employment,
An offer of employment,
An activity, or
Other training for employment.

Refer to Good Cause and Notification to Employment Services for a list of good cause.

Note: Only CWES staff will make good cause determinations related to CWES requirements and monitor good cause on a monthly basis.
