Referrals
At CalFresh benefit recipient's request, a SCCSSA staff may submit a CFET Third-Party Partner referral via encrypted email to the benefit recipient's preferred CFET Third Party Partner. The potential CFET participant’s contact information will be found in the email attachment. Third-Party Partners must ensure that prospective CFET participants referred to the Third-Party Partners sites are contacted in a timely manner, using the information provided in the referral email.
Please ensure that your specified referral email inbox is checked daily.
Upon receipt of a CFET Third-Party Partner referral, the CFET Third-Party Partner must:
- Contact the referred individual within three (3) days, using the contact information provided by the referring County staff.
- Document the referral outcome in the Third-Party Partner's system of record.
- Email the referring County staff to confirm receipt of the referral and its outcome. Contact information of the referring County staff can be found on the body of the email and not the email attachment.
Third-Party Partners may also reach out to the County CFET Program Coordinator if there are any issued or concerns regarding CFET referrals
