Update 24-01: New Community Care Facility (CCF) Rates

Background
CCF rates are determined by the California Department of Developmental Services (CDDS). These rates are used by the San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) for foster care placements.
Changes
CDDS has released new CCF rates effective January 1, 2024. The Personal and Incidental (P&I) expenses rate is now $177.00. For current and historical rates, refer to 2025 Rates of the Charts Handbook.
CalSAWS
CalSAWS does not upload CCF rates as they are not considered standard rates and vary from county to county. Workers must manually enter the rate in the Child Placement Detail page as a non-standard rate.
Forms
The new rates have been included on the “Santa Clara County Foster Care Rates Chart” form (SCD 2405).
