Background

The CalFresh program has seen an increase in denied or discontinued CalFresh cases due to a missed CalFresh interview. Clarification is required concerning client contact about CalFresh cases with this scenario. 

Changes

The section for Purpose of Visit in the topic of Intake Office Lobby in Chapter 7 was revised. A new bullet with an Exception was added to the Purpose of Visit chart. 

Other Handbooks

The information under the Missed Initial Interview section in the topic of Processing Time Frames of CalFresh Handbook Chapter 4 has been aligned with the Clerical Handbook.
