Update 25-03: DEBS Online Document Upload Portal Decommissioned

Background
The DEBS Online Portal was originally created for clients to submit documents in a safe and secure way. The ssadocupload.sccgov.org website was established for clients to access. Prior to this, clients would submit documents via email, which compromised the client's Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
The DEBS Online Portal is also known as the:
- Document Portal, or
- Online Portal, or
- Online Document Upload Portal.
Changes
The DEBS Online Portal was decommissioned effective 02/28/2025. Staff should immediately refer clients to BenefitsCal for document submission instead. All other modalities, such as submitting by mail or in person, remain safe and secure ways for clients to submit documents.

Forms
Lobby posters and forms will be revised to remove mention of the DEBS Online Portal. The Voicemail Phone Script has been revised and no longer mentions the document portal. If staff have not done so already, staff must update their voicemail to remove mention of the DEBS Online Portal.
Other Programs
Most of the DEBS Online Portal information was previously found in the Common Place Handbook, but it has been revised to remove any mention of the portal. The DEBS-BP Handbook has also been updated accordingly.
