Program and/or Case Closing

1. CalSAWS/ EW
   1. Discontinues/Denies and discontinues benefits case.
   2. Sends NOAs to caregiver/provider.
   3. Sends a system generated alert to the EW.
2. FC EW
   1. Receives and reviews alerts.
   2. If the FC EW determines child is eligible for ongoing Medi-Cal,
      1. Updates case data in CalSAWS.
      2. Sends NOA to provider.
      3. Follows Intake or Continuing Benefits Processing.
      4. Keeps active MC case when only the FC program is closed.
   3. Prints and forwards a copy of the inquiry screen to EWS when case is closed.
