Relinquishment of Parental Rights to a Freed Child Status

1. DFCS/JPD
   1. Initiates a referral.
   2. Sends the State Acknowledgement Letter OR SOC 158A with a copy of the Freed Memo and the Minute Order to FC Clerical.
2. FC Clerical
   1. Receives the State Acknowledgment Letter OR SOC 158A with a copy of the Freed Memo and the Minute Order.
   2. Completes ID.
   3. Forwards request to assigned FC EW.
3. Continuing EW (these are time sensitive processes)
   1. Receives the State Acknowledgement Letter from FC Clerical OR SOC 158A with a copy of the Freed Memo and the Minute Order.
   2. Follows CalSAWS Announcement CA 279.
   3. Refers to Benefits Processing Continuing.
