California Residency
California residency is a requirement of Medi-Cal (MC) eligibility.
California residence requirements are met when the applicant:
- Is physically present and is living in California with the intent to remain permanently.
- The applicant has entered California with a job commitment or to seek employment, whether or not currently employed. Refer to Migrant Workers.
- Provides acceptable verification of California residency.
