Lost Boys of Sudan

In 1983, civil war broke out in Sudan. Many children lost their parents or were forcefully separated from their families. Since February 2001, Santa Clara County Catholic Charities has been assisting in the resettlement of these individuals. The Lost Boys of Sudan are considered Refugees. This group of individuals should have an I-94 stating that they are Refugees. These clients are subject to the same eligibility criteria for Refugees, therefore eligible for the same medical benefits and services provided to Refugees.
