9071 - Contradictory Citizen Information on MEDS-Updates Needed - Urgent

With SB75 implementation, this alert generates when there is mismatched citizenship document type on MEDS and CalSAWS regardless of age; it results:

• CITIZEN/ALIEN-IND “?” will be placed on the MED records to indicate that the citizenship status is undetermined due to the mismatch for all age.
• The MEDS record will be placed on Burman Hold indicated by the ELIG-STAT code “#8#” (the second digit indicates Burman status) only for children under 19 years of age.
• The ELIG-STAT code “#6#” will be retained because the individuals over 19 years of age will continue to have their full scope aid codes changed to limited scope aid codes due to DRA Citizenship/Identity requirement not met. The individual will NOT be placed on Burman Hold.

Action Required

The EW must read MEDS alert data element on INWD and compare DRA information on the Vital Statistics Detail page in CalSAWS and on INQE screen on MEDS to clear the mismatched data.
