9073 - Recon Add Rejected - OOS Term on MEDS; Elig Re-Eval Req - Critical

This recon alert is generated when the State discontinued a client in MEDS for not a California resident that was based on PARIS (Public Assistance Reporting Information System) Federal report. However, the client remains active in CalSAWS and at reconciliation CalSAWS attempted to activate the client in MEDS but the batch transaction was rejected.

MEDS TERM-REAS codes are:

• MR = Moved out of State per Beneficiary
• MV = Failed to confirm CA residency.

Action Required

• Verify the client’s residency.
• Discontinue the client in CalSAWS if they are not California resident or,
• Restore the client’s Medi-Cal benefit in MEDS via SCD 1296 if the client submits proof of California residency.
