9502 - IMM Need ID Card Issued - Elig Not Confirmed - Alert

This alert is generated in the monthly Renewal process when an ‘Immediate Need’ Paper BIC was issued to the recipient but eligibility has not been confirmed. Either the CalSAWS transaction(s) has never been generated to send a confirming transaction to MEDS, or the transaction to MEDS was rejected by MEDS.

An alert message was previously issued by MEDS but has never been cleared.

Action Required

The EW must review CalSAWS to determine if eligibility is established for the month in question.

• If eligibility is NOT established in CalSAWS, resubmit the approval transaction via the appropriate CalSAWS transaction(s).
• If eligibility is already established in CalSAWS, review the INQM screen to determine which MEDS months do not match CalSAWS history. Submit an SCD1296 requesting the MTO to confirm eligibility on MEDS.
