9503 - Recipient has been in a Hold Status for Two Months - Alert

This alert is generated in the monthly Renewal process when the recipient has been in a Hold status for more than one Renewal month.

Action Required

If the recipient is INELIGIBLE for Medi-Cal and eligibility is already discontinued in CalSAWS, submit an SCD 1296 to terminate MEDS.
If the recipient is still Medi-Cal eligible, the EW must research the case to identify the original problem which caused the record to be placed on Hold. Corrective action depends on the original error. Submit an SCD 1296 requesting the MTO to release the Hold if needed.
