ALIAS/SSA-NAME-CODE
Alias/SSA Name Code or Alias Name Code or Name Code. This code indicates whether the individual’s alias is a name recognized by the Social Security Administration (SSA) based on an SSN Validation. It may also be an alias reported by the county or SDX transaction. These codes are stored on the Name Cross Reference Files.
The only valid values for input by counties are 1, 2 or 4. The remaining values are populated by MEDS.
