Alien Eligibility Code. This data element identifies the codes used by SSA and the counties to identify those non-citizens who are affected by the requirements of the Welfare Reform Act of August 1996. It also identifies those Victims Of Severe Forms of Trafficking who are receiving state-funded

Medi-Cal under SB 1569. This field can be viewed from the INQE screen.

1	Refugee admitted under section 207 of the Immigration and Naturalization Act (I&NA).
2	Deportation withheld under section 243(h) or 241(b)(3) of the I&NA.
3	Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) with 40 work quarters.
4	LPR alien on active duty in the military or an honorable discharged veteran.
5	LPR spouse or unremarried surviving spouse of active duty military/veteran.
6	LPR dependent child of active duty military/veteran.
8	Amerasian admitted to the U.S. as an LPR.
9	Non-citizens who have been battered or subjected to extreme cruelty and meet the conditions necessary to be considered a Qualified Alien.
W	Victim of human trafficking without a visa application - Non-citizen applicant for Trafficking and Crime Victims Assistance Program who is taking steps to file for a T Visa or to become certified by ORR for federal benefits.
X	Victim of domestic violence or other serious crimes - Non-citizen applicant for Trafficking and Crime Victims Assistance Program who has filed for a U Visa.
Y	Victim of domestic violence or other serious crimes - U Visa has been granted.
