Assistance Reimbursement Status Code or IRA Status Code. This data element identifies the timing of SSA reimbursement of state interim assistance payment(s) or the reason for non-payment. When reimbursement is made or attempted, the status code is updated to reflect the change. This field can be viewed from the INQX screen. The values for this field are:

Essential person record, applicant did not authorize reimbursement, there is no Federal/State agreement to reimburse, or the SDX record is for the month following the month of the recipient's move from the State of reimbursement |

Total amount shown in the SSI Monthly Assistance Amount and the State Supplement Amount is being, or was, sent to the State or county as reimbursement |
