Date: | 3/20/2023 (Revised 5/1/2023) |
To: | CalFresh Eligibility Staff |
From: | Carmen Rodriguez, ADSS II |

Background
The Corrective Action Tracking Report Web-Based (CATR WEBB) system used to enter and track quality assurance case reviews is being replaced by the Case Accuracy Review Monitoring Application (CARMA).
Go-Live Plan
Go-Live Dates
The CARMA icon will be loaded to the SSA Web Applications page on March 30th, 2023. CARMA is scheduled to go-live on April 3rd, 2023. Phase 1 of CARMA includes CalFresh reviews and the user base is extending to include CalFresh Eligibility Workers.
Training
Web based training (WBT) will be available at go-live for training on system functionality based on the CARMA role. WBTs range from 8-12 minutes each and are tailored for the specific user role in CARMA. Three WBTs will be offered for the following CARMA roles, Eligibility Examiner, Eligibility Work Supervisor and Eligibility Worker.
Review Expectation Build Up
There is no change to the monthly review expectations, Quality Assurance (QA) review business practice, or guidance on how to review a CalFresh case for QA purposes. Corrective Action Steering Committee has approved a gradual build up to the review expectations as follows:

April 2023 | 1 | 1 |
May 2023 | 2 | 2 |
June 2023 | 4 | 4 |
July 2023 | 8 | 4 |
August 2023 | 16 | 4 |
Active Review Expectation Build Up for Health Care Reform Units
Review Month | Active Review Expectation |
April 2023 | 1 |
May 2023 | 2 |
June 2023 | 3 |
July 2023 | 4 |
August 2023 | 5 |
Implementation
This PD is effective immediately.
