The following information is included to determine how QA CalFresh CARMA case reviews are assigned to district office EWs, and are subject to change as needed.

QA Unit - CalFresh RTF-Negative CATR Reviews
The following process applies to RTF-Negative Reviews that are created by the QA Unit. Both denials and discontinuances will be reviewed throughout the entire month. QA will still perform a CAPER review, even if the CalFresh case has been rescinded/ restored.
If the case has been rescinded and QA finds that additional corrections are still needed, QA will follow enter the error in CARMA for to the EW where the case currently resides.

These Standardized Comments will be copied and pasted by the QA EE into the CARMA Comments section when completing RTF-Negative reviews that contain the criteria noted above:
Standardized comment for Negative Reviews
“This review is for informational purposes only. QA is following the Case and Procedural Error Rate QC Review Guidelines. Although this case is rescinded, the errors cited above would be cited should the case be reviewed by State QC. Pls discuss the prevention of these errors with your staff so that we may minimize any future citations from the State. Pls submit this review in CARMA to acknowledge that you have reviewed this error. Thank you for your contribution to reducing the negative error rate.”
Standardized comment for CONTINUING Negative Reviews
“This review is for informational purposes only. QA is following the Case and Procedural Error Rate QC Review Guidelines. QA Unit - Errors on “No Show” Cases
Cases that are denied in CalSAWS automatically for “no show” and have errors (i.e. no appointment letter, incorrect dates on NOMI) will be cited and the following process will be followed. This only applies to cases were the negative action was not taken by an EW.
