Background

On January 1, 2024 the California State minimum wage increased from $15.50 to $16.00 per hour.

Changes

Several cities in the County of Santa Clara have adjusted their minimum wage based on the regional Consumer Price Index (CPI). Other cities and towns in the county have adjusted their minimum wage in accordance with the California minimum wage schedule.
