Department of Employment and Benefit Services Collect Calls

The Department of Employment and Benefit Services will accept collect calls only if the caller is requesting information regarding CalFresh.

Always accept a collect call if there is no opportunity to ask if the call is about CalFresh (such as when a computerized call is received).

To avoid a compromise of confidentiality, the question to be asked must be worded “Is this ABOUT CalFresh?” Do not reword the question.
