Special Needs
There are two special needs for Foster Care and Kin-GAP:
- Burial expenses, and
- Clothing allowances.
Any other increases in the cost of a child's or youth’s care are processed as:
- Requests for service funds (outside of Foster Care Eligibility),
- Special Care Increments (SCI), or
- When no other source of funding is available, a DE.
