Regrouping
Regrouping is a CalWIN automated process of reevaluating benefit discrepancies for a period that has an existing claim and now a change has occurred in:
- Date of discovery
- Overpayment amount
- Error type
Request to FMS to Correct Aid Codes
The ACE was created as a tool to notify FMS when there is an aid code adjustment after benefits have been issued. FCE is required to send an e-mail to the ACE in-box when requesting a manual aid code adjustment and to add a CalSAWS journal when the e-mail is sent.
FMS is required to have specific information relating to the adjustment which must include a screen shot of the incorrect aid code to validate the request.
The following information must be included when sending an e-mail to the ACE in-box.
- The CalSAWS case number
- The CalSAWS case name
- The adjustment period (benefit month(s))
- Benefit issuance number
- The correct aid code
- A screen shot which includes the adjustment period
