Incoming NDNRLG ICT
The incoming process for a non-dependent, non-related legal guardianship (NDNRLG) inter-county transfer mirrors the Application for Non-Dependent Legal Guardians workflow with the following exceptions. Refer to theNon-Dependent Cases topic in chapter 31 for more information.
1. Intake EW
- Reviews the ICT Packet within 15 calendar days from the date of receipt.
- Notifies the legal guardian within two business days that the ICT has been received. Allows the LG 10 calendar days to respond.
- Determines eligibility before the expiration of the transfer period.
Note: The ICT Liaison of the sending county should be contacted before denying an ICT.
- Returns the FC 18 to the sending county to confirm the pickup of eligibility within 30 days of the date of receipt into SCC.
OR
- States in the “Comments” section of the FC 18 that the ICT is denied (if the NRLG has not responded by the requested date), due to non-cooperation.
- Returns the FC 18 to the sending county.
