Annual Redeterminations (RDs) for ARC 

  1. Continuing FC EW
    1. Sends the Notice of ARC Eligibility Redetermination form (SCD 2626) and the annual RD packet to the assigned SW/PO.
  2. DFCS/JPD
    1. Returns the annual RD packet to FCE, which must include the following:
      1. Updated SOC 158A
      2. ARC 2
      3. If applicable, the Update RFA Certificate (RFA 05A) located in the EW Tools Folder 
      4. Copy of the review Minute Order.
  3. FC Clerical
    1. Assigns redetermination packet to Continuing FC EW.
  4. Continuing FC EW
    1. Reviews the Minute Order
    2. Reviews the RFA 05A
    3. Reviews the updated SOC 158A
    4. Ensures ARC payments will be issued
    5. Enters a CalSAWS Journal summarizing actions and any special needs or specialized rates approved
    6. Completes the CalSAWS RD process for ARC/Medi-Cal.

Note: The RFA certificate does not expire; updates will be made. ARC payments must continue using the case aid code while awaiting the updated RFA 05A.
