Aid Paid Pending Overpayments

Recipients who fail to comply with GA program requirements and are subsequently discontinued may file an appeal. If the appeal is filed TIMELY, the client may receive aid paid pending the decision of the hearing.

The aid paid pending payment will be considered a client error overpayment if the client either:

  • Delays the hearing by rescheduling without good cause.
  • Does not appear for the hearing, or
  • When an unfavorable decision is received.
