INQV - Date-Specific Aid Codes Inquiry

The [INQV] screen displaysThe [INQV] screen displays an individual’s partial month Medi-Cal eligibility for Inmate Eligibility Program (MCIEP) and the following Date-Specific Presumptive Eligibility (PE) Programs:

Hospital Presumptive Eligibility (HPE),
Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women (PE4PW),
Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) Gateway,
Breast and Cervical Cancer Treatment Program (BCCTP) Accelerated Enrollment, and
COVID-19.

The important fields are as follows:

A/C= Aid Code (N6, N7, P3, 8W, 0M, etc.) for which the client has or had partial month eligibility
CNTY = County of Responsibility
DT TYPE = the Start or Term Date that is derived from the EFF-DATE or TERM-DATE in the batch or online transaction
START/TERM DT = the actual START or TERM DATE that is derived from the effective date or termination date of the program eligibility in the batch or online transaction

Note: The IN/OUT Date on MEDS screens used to record partial month HPE or PE4PW eligibility is replaced by START or TERM DT on the [INQV] screen.

To Obtain

Select option by typing ‘QV’ in the [INQS] screen and press Enter, or
From any of the queried individual’s response screens, type ‘QV’ in the Option field and press Enter.
