8503 - Refugee/Alien Information Missing or Incomplete - Action

This alert is generated when an add transaction is submitted for a refugee Aid Code (e.g., 01, 02, or 08); however, the Citizen/Alien Indicator is either missing or invalid. For example, Aid Code 01 is submitted with an indicator of “A,” which is valid only for U.S. citizens.

Refer to CITIZEN/ALIEN-IND for a listing of valid indicators.

Action Required

• Review case to determine if the client is indeed a refugee and eligible to receive benefits under Aid Code 01, 02, or 08.
• Correct the refugee data entered on the Individual Demographics Detail and Citizenship Status Detail pages.
