9581 - Potential Elig Chg - Age 25 Yrs, 9 Mos - Alert

As the result of Senate Bill 104 implementation, this alert is generated monthly in the Renewal process whenever a recipient without eligible immigration status and receiving full scope MC, has reached the age of 25 years and 9 months.

Refer to MC HB Chapter 5: Citizenship/Immigration Status, Section SB75, SB104 and AB133 for detailed information.

Action Required

The EW must review the case to determine an appropriate MC program for the recipient and ensure the full scope MC benefit terminate in MEDS prior to MEDS Cutoff the month of the recipient’s 26th birthday.

A timely NOA is required when the recipient’s MC benefit is discontinued or reduced to restricted scope.
