Monitoring Recipients Approaching Time Clock Limits
DSR608 Caseload Report
Eligibility Workers (EWs) receive the DSR608 Caseload Report on a monthly basis and must monitor the TOA 54+ tab, which lists all adults that have used 54 to 60 months.
CalSAWS Automated Tasks
CalSAWS creates automated tasks for "Approaching CW Time Limit - 54 Months" and "Approaching CW Time Limit - 57 Months."

EWs are required to ensure CalSAWS auto-discontinues cash aid for individuals who have reached their CalWORKs 60-month time clock unless they are granted an extender. Any payments made in excess of the 60th month period must be declared as an overpayment. Refer to Caseload Management in the Time on Aid Handbook for further information.
