Santa Clara County Internal CFET Program

The SCC CFET program is a voluntary program that requires all participants to adhere to State and Federal E&T requirements.

The SCC CFET program is administered internally by the General Assistance Vocational Services (VS) staff. Participants who can work are referred to a CFET Orientation and are expected to comply with all the CFET rules and regulations in order to successfully complete their CFET plan goals.

The SCC CFET program components are:

  • Non-Education, Non-Work Components
    • Supervised Job Search
  • Work Components
    • Workfare

This handbook provides CFET Third-Party Partners information about the CFET Third-Party Partnership model within Santa Clara County and the basic outline for administering the CFET Third-Party Partner model in existing employment & training programs. The SCCSSA oversees the SCC CFET program both internally through the General Assistance Vocational Services and externally through the County's existing CFET Third-Party Partners.
