WDTIP/TRAC

The WDTIP administers the TRAC application.

TRAC is a statewide welfare time-on-aid tracking and reporting system that was designed to mirror CalSAWS’s TOA information. TRAC is accessible to the eligibility workers through the MEDS.

The TRAC system is housed by the Department of Technology Services in Sacramento, California, and the maintenance and operations is provided by the state staff who work closely with the CDSS and the counties.

Infrastructure Overview

The TRAC application is designed to accept all of the necessary time clock related data elements directly from the counties, while relying on other statewide systems (i.e. MEDS, SCI) for some demographic data and other non-time clock related elements. These relationships are depicted in this graphgraph
