Application Registration Components

The Application Registration can begin in CalWIN after collecting all the information needed, documentation on the SCD 41 or screen prints required. Initiate the Queues based on the type of application, Add-a-Program or Regular intake.

Registration Subsystem is used to initiate the queue from the CalWIN navigator.

Collect Applicant Information window is used to collect individual details of the applicants.

Home Address verifies the address is valid and also queries other cases that are active at that address.

SCI is used to clear individuals, the CIN identified in prior MEDS ID should be located at this point.

CWIN- If there is an existing CWIN identified in the prior ID, it is to be selected. If there was no record or a new CWIN to be created, it is done at this point.

Sign SAWS1- After all the information has been entered and matched with the handwritten SAWS1, the CalWIN SAWS1 is printed. If the client is present, have him/her sign the CalWIN SAWS1, if the client is not present, the handwritten SAWS1 must be used.

Case Clearance is used to attach a case number to the application in CalWIN. Case number to be used should have already been decided upon at this point. If there is no existing case number, a new one must be created. 

User Availability/Suggest User window is used to create an appointment with an Intake EW. This will allow you to find the correct language assignment. If the language worker is not available, an interpreter must be scheduled.

Schedule Appointment is used to schedule an appointment and print an appointment letter. Print the appointment letter for the client.
