CalWORKS Social Work Services - SSI Advocacy

Clients who are receiving cash aid but are exempt from participation due to long term medical disability are referred to a SW for further assessment of their qualifications for SSI/SSP and assistance with the processing of their application at the Social Security Administration, including application assistance for children.
