HOLD - MEDS Worker Alerts for Hold Records
- Provides inquiry and transaction information for recipients who are in a Burman Hold status.
- The Hold status continues Medi-Cal while continued eligibility is determined.
- Only information that created the error is displayed. The EW must use the INWA screens to see the entire picture in order to find a resolution.
Refer to Burman Hold Process for more information on the Burman process.
To Obtain
- Choose Option ‘H’ from the Inquiry Request Menu [MENU] screen, or
- From a blank MEDS screen, type HOLD and press Enter, or
- From any of the queried individual’s response screens, type HD in the Option field and press Enter.
- The Request for Hold Worker Alert Inquiry screen appearsRequest for Hold Worker Alert Inquiry screen appears.
- Enter Client-ID or County and Case Serial number.
HOLD - HOLD ONLINE WORKER ALERT SUMMARY
- The Hold Online Worker Alert Summary screen is displayedHold Online Worker Alert Summary screen is displayed when sufficient data is entered on the Request for Hold Worker Alert Inquiry screen.
- Displays a list of alerts that caused the recipient to go into a Hold status.
- If recipient is not in a Hold status, the message “NO WORKER ALERTS FOUND” is displayed.
- To view a particular alert in detail:
- Tab cursor to position the cursor next to the desired alert, and
- Type ‘S’ and press Enter.
Caution: EWs should not attempt to utilize either the ‘E’ or ‘T’ option. Only MTOs who have ‘Full Access’ capabilities for MEDS can utilize option E to recall the rejected EW (Modify) transaction. The ‘T’ option is reserved for the MEDS Coordinators to recall training transactions.
HOLD - HOLD ONLINE WORKER ALERT INQUIRY DETAIL
The Hold Online Worker Alert Inquiry Detail screen appearsHold Online Worker Alert Inquiry Detail screen appears after a selection is made on the Hold Online Worker Alert Summary screen. Information such as transaction code, source, creation date, error message number with description, and data element is displayed.
