Online Inquiries
The latest information available on the MEDS Network can be viewed through online query. The following sections contain illustrations of the available screens as well as basic descriptions of each screen.
MENU - Inquiry Request Menu
The Inquiry Request Menu (MENU) is the main access screen that displays the various MEDS inquiry and menu options that are available. The purpose of the Inquiry Request Menu screen is to:
- Display the different types of inquiries available, and
- Allow selection of the desired inquiry request screen.
The Inquiry Request Menu screen can be accessed by:
- Typing the word MENU on a blank screen and press Enter, or
- Pressing the <SHIFT+F12> function key.
Access the desired request screenAccess the desired request screen by selecting one of the 17 options listed (R, N, W, X, S, P, T, A, H, M, I, G, K, O, V, Y or Z) and press Enter.
Transaction Codes and Function Keys
If the type of inquiry request is already known, the [MENU] screen can be bypassed. The desired screen can be accessed by:
- Entering the 4-digit alpha character transaction code on a blank MEDS screen and press Enter, or
- Pressing the appropriate function <F> key as follows.
