SSI Recipient - Termination

Case Situation

50 years old client has been active under MAGI MC. According to a daily MEDS alert, client starts receiving SSI/SSP benefit monthly under aid code 60. The MEDS alert is processed late to discontinue MAGI MC in CalSAWS for future month.

1. On the Other Program Assistance Detail page:
   1. Select Name from the drop down list.
   2. Select SSI/SSP from the Type of Assistance drop down list.
   3. Complete all other required fields.
2. Complete other Data Collection pages relevant to the case.
3. Complete all required fields on the Magi Determination List page and click on Request MAGI to send an EDR to fail MAGI MC in CalHEERS:
   1. Review DER results in the Search Results Summary page section.
4. Run EDBC and review eligibility result that should indicate the status of MAGI MC “Fail” and regular MC “Deemed” on the Medi-Cal EDBC Summary page.
5. Accept and Save the results.
