AE-BCCTP
AE - BCCTP. These recipients receive provider-initiated AE when they meet four criteria:
• Under 65
• Not a Medicare recipient
• Diagnosed with breast/cervical cancer
• Has no other creditable coverage.

CHDP-GTWY-MC-8W
CHDP Gateway Medi-Cal Child. All children enrolling through the CHDP Gateway program who appear eligible for no-cost Medi-Cal as a result of the screening process qualify for AE.
The child is provided with immediate temporary Medi-Cal coverage for the month of application and the following month. If an application is received by the SPE within the two-month period, eligibility is extended beyond the initial two-month period while the county makes a final determination of their eligibility. These children can be identified on MEDS with an Aid Code of 8W.
CHDP-GTWY-TLICP-8X
CHDP Gateway TLICP Child. All children enrolling through the CHDP Gateway program who appear eligible for the TLICP as a result of the screening process qualify for AE.
The child is provided with immediate temporary Medi-Cal coverage for the month of application and the following month. If an application is received by SPE within the two-month period, eligibility is extended beyond the initial two-month period while the county makes a final determination of their eligibility. These children can be identified on MEDS with an Aid Code of 8X.

AE-SLP CHILD
AE - School Lunch Program. Children who are eligible for free or reduced cost school lunches (grades K-12) and who meet other income requirements may qualify for full-scope no SOC Medi-Cal. These children can be identified on MEDS with an Aid Code of 7T.
Santa Clara County previously participated in this program in collaboration with the Alum Rock School District. Currently, there are no school districts in Santa Clara County participating in this program.

AE-SPE CHILD
AE - SPE. All children applying at SPE who appear eligible for no-cost Medi-Cal as a result of the screening process qualify for AE. The Medi-Cal eligible child is provided with immediate temporary coverage while the county welfare department makes a final determination of their eligibility. These children can be identified on MEDS with an Aid Code of 8E.

DE-CHDP
DE - CHDP Gateway Infant. All children enrolling through the CHDP Gateway who are less than 1-year old, whose mother was eligible for full scope no cost Medi-Cal during the month of the child’s birth in other than an accelerated or non-federal Aid Code.
These infants are identified on MEDS with an Aid Code of 8U (no SOC) or 8V (SOC) while the county makes a final determination of their eligibility.
