Processing of Periodic Reports

On July 1, 2005, the Department of Employment and Benefits Services (DEBS) began scanning Periodic Reports and attached verifications. Periodic Reports received must be scanned into IDM and CalWIN. All documentations attached to a periodic report must be copied for scanning purposes and the originals are returned to the client via U.S. Mail. Periodic Reports must be entered immediately upon receipt to avoid any impact on the client’s future benefits. The original periodic report must be placed in Quality Assurance (QA) storage for 30 days when processed manually in CalWIN.

Periodic Reports that MUST be scanned into the IDM system include, but are not limited to the following:

  • “Semi-Annual Eligibility/Status Report” (SAR 7)
  • “Medi-Cal Midyear Status Report” (MC 176 S)
  • “Transitional Medi-Cal Quarterly Status Report” (MC 176 TMC)
  • “Daily Tip Statement” (CSF 34)
  • “Self-Employment Sworn Statement” (CSF 35/SCD 380)
  • “Food Stamp Household Change Report” (DFA 377.5)
  • “Sponsor’s Quarterly Income & Resources Report” (SAR 72)
  • “Senior Parent’s Semi-Annual Income Report” (SAR 73)
  • “Attendance and Child Care Billing” (SCD 1755)

Note: BSC/CWES will follow the “In-house” procedures for processing periodic reports assigned to them.
