MEDS/CDB Renewal Process

  • Around the 24th of each month, the MEDS/CDB Renewal process is run.

Note: Refer to the Cutoff Calendar All Programs on Program web page in the intranet for a list of dates when the monthly State MEDS Renewal process is run.

  • Renewal establishes MEDS/CDB eligibility for the FUTURE CALENDAR MONTH; it does NOT initiate the issuance of the future month’s CalFresh benefits.
  • MEDS/CDB current month information becomes the first prior month of history after the Renewal process is run. Pending/future information is moved to the current month.
  • If an error is detected, the Renewal process generates a CEWA. Additionally, if appropriate corrective action is not taken, the record is placed in the MEDS-Generated Hold Database Refer to MEDS HB Burman Hold Process.
