4803 - SSN Verified Via Title II/XVI Match - Did Not Match SSA - Action

This daily alert is generated when the SSN for this individual failed to validate based on a match to SSA's NUMIDENT file, which is the master file for SSN issuance. However, the SSN was successfully verified based on a match to Title II (RSDI) and Title XVI (SSI/SSP) data.

Action Required

The EW must check MEDS to see if there are any SSN Verification discrepancy messages that may accompany this alert.
If there are no discrepancy messages, or after reviewing the discrepancies, you determine that the client is the individual whose SSN was verified, update the SSN Detail page, if necessary, to show that the client's SSN has been verified.
If there are other discrepancy messages, refer to those messages and follow the steps to have the discrepancies resolved.
If necessary, refer the client to SSA with form MC 194 to have the SSA data corrected.
