TOA/TRAC Updates and Processes
General Information
TRAC is the name of the WDTIP application, which is located on the same mainframe as the MEDS application. Data is added and modified by CalSAWS entries (batch) or online entries entered in MEDS by MTO.
CalSAWS and WDTIP/TRAC Interface
The CalSAWS system sends transactions to WDTIP via nightly batch runs and the new information updates TOA records in TRAC. The WDTIP system sends TOA related alerts to CalSAWS and generates monthly TRAC reports.
MEDS/TRAC Interface
The WDTIP masterfile is also updated each night from TRAC transactions generated that day via online entries entered by the MTO.
