MEDS Network Sign-Off Procedure
Once all inquiries have been completed, it is MANDATORY for MEDS users to log off the MEDS system. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS IT ACCEPTABLE TO BYPASS THIS STEP. There are stringent rules set up for accessing information on the MEDS Network. Failure to log off is considered a security violation by both the State and Federal authorities. To sign-off from MEDS:
- Press CLEAR to obtain a blank screen,
- Type “Quit”Type “Quit” or “CSSF Logoff” and press ENTER.
Successful sign-off will return you to the OTECH Logo screenOTECH Logo screen shown below:
Reminder: If you are stepping away from your terminal for a moment and do not wish to sign-off of MEDS, you are required to lock your terminal keyboard from unauthorized access.
To lock your terminal, press the CTRL, ALT and DELETE keys simultaneously and then press the [Lock this computer] button.
