Password/Passphrase Reset

The RACF/MEDS User account will be revoked after four (4) unsuccessful attempts to access MEDS or if you have not accessed MEDS for 90 days. Follow the order of preference below to request resetting of your password/passphrase:

  1. Contact the CalSAWS Application Triage and Support (CATS) at (408)758-4646. You will need to provide your RACF User ID and your PIN (the last four digits of your SSN or the four-digit PIN is selected during your initial MEDS registration).

If you do not remember or do not know your PIN, contact MEDS Access Liaison at CATS.

  1. Contact MEDS Coordinator via a Gadwin ticket for further instructions if you have entered a valid User ID and Password on the MEDS SignOn screen, but the MEDS access is disabled.
