Confidentiality
County staff are allowed access to MEDS eligibility data for the purposes of administering the Medi-Cal program. Under no circumstances should a staff member use MEDS data for purposes not directly related to the administration of Medi-Cal.
The disclosure of information to other agencies and providers is limited. County staff are also prohibited from releasing MEDS print-outs, including the MOPI screen) to anyone.
