0503 - Displayed Data Element Not Valid on this Transaction - Priority Reject

This alert is generated when a batch input transaction contained a data element number that was not recognized as a valid data element for this transaction code.

Review the MEDS INWA Request For Online Worker Alert Inquiry on the transaction MEDS ID or county ID.

Action Required

• After going through the proper channels, a GadWIN ticket must be generated for each record with the relevant MEDS and CalSAWS screenshots attached.
• The GadWIN will determine whether the problem is an incorrect data element number or an incorrect transaction code.
• If the transaction should have updated MEDS information, submit updates as needed to correct MEDS.
• Verify whether the record has been placed on Hold by looking for a 2502 Recipient In Hold Status alert message on the same day as this alert; or by going to the INQS Client Inquiry Summary screen and selecting an eligibility screen.
