2205 - Invalid Change - New MEDS-ID Was Prev Removed from Record - Reject

This alert is generated when an EW10 transaction is submitted to MEDS for modifying the MEDS-ID (SSN) was previously used and removed from the record. The previous SSN can be displayed on Statewide Client Index (SCI) or PRIOR-MEDS-ID field on [INQM] screen.

Verify the previously removed SSN that belongs to your client.

Submit a GadWIN ticket including a copy of SSN and/or the completed MC 194 to request to update the incorrect SSN to the previously removed (correct) SSN in MEDS.
