Possible Screens To Resolve This Alert

  1. The ABAWD Food Stamp 36-Month Calendar [INQG] indicates when the ABAWD Clock (INDIV-EFF-DT or ABAWD-CLOCK-DATE) starts for the 36-month-period. The ABAWD indicator and INDIV-EFF-DATE can also be found on the [INQF] screenscreen. This information can be used to compare the ABAWD information on the Time Limit Summary page.

  2. The Time Limit Summary page indicates the specific ABAWD Time Limit Status. This page is also used to compare the ABAWD Status Codes and INDIV-EFF-DATE on [INQG] screen.
  3. The Work Registration Detail page displays the exemption type that should match with the Exemption Code on the ABAWD Status List page.

Note: Some exemptions can be triggered by other CalSAWS pages (i.e., Disability).

Action Required

  • Review the ABAWD Time Limit status in the Time Limit Summary page and on [INQG] screen and compare the ABAWD status and code for accuracy.
  • If CalSAWS has inaccurate time limit status and/or an exemption code, update appropriate client data in CalSAWS, run EBDC, review the EDBC Summary page for correct ABAWD Exemption Reason, accept and save the results.

Note: If needed, manually add/remove the ABAWD time limit for a specific month.

  • If only MEDS has incorrect ABAWD indicator/status code, submit an SCD 1296 to request an FX60 transaction and indicate the correct status code for a specific month.
  • Check MEDS in two working days for the correct ABAWD indicator/status code.

Refer to CalSAWS "Job Aid (JA) ABAWD", for detailed information.
