Making Satisfactory Progress (MSP) Introduction
State policy requires the assignment of participation hours to CalWORKs clients based on three factors:
- The number of parents or caretaker relatives included in the AU
- The age of the child(ren) in the AU, and
- The basis for deprivation (unemployment or incapacity) of the child(ren) in the determination of eligibility to two-parent AUs.
