2083 - Pending Segment Present; Cannot Build Pending - Reject

This alert is received when a change EW30 (Modify) transaction is received which would normally be placed in the pending ‘future’ month segment (INQ4). However, there is already other information in the ‘pending’ segment which conflicts with information sent in this transaction. The transaction has therefore rejected.

Action Required

Obtain a [Pending Primary Medi-Cal/CMSP Information] INQ4 screen to determine what information MEDS/CDB already has in the pending segment.
Compare the pending segment data with the case record information to determine if the correct changes will be applied to the future month. It may be necessary to request an online action by the MTO to update the pending segment, via an EW30 (Modify Individual MEDS Record) online transaction.
